About the products:

A mala is originally a Hindu and Buddhist tool for prayer and meditation. It is used to count mantras during meditation.

A mantra is a collection of words, often Sanskrit, that is repeated several times – traditionally 108 times.

While repeating, one should focus on the meaning and vibration of the words, possibly combined with the accompanying visualization.

By practicing a meditation practice like this, thoughts rest and the body relaxes. These days, a mala is also worn as a fashion accessory.
Why 108?

Malas have 108 beads because this number has great scientific significance in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. The circumference of the sun multiplied by 108 is the distance between the sun and the Earth, and the same is true for the moon and the Earth.

Additionally, there are 108 nadis or energy channels in the body.

There are 54 Sanskrit letters, masculine and feminine, for a total of 108.

There are 108 Puranas and 108 Upanishads.

The list goes on and on!! This same sacred number is therefore used in malas.

Qualities of Palo Santo

The indigenous peoples of the Andes have used Palo Santo for centuries to ward off negative energies. When this sacred wood is burned, negative energy is purified, peace and harmony are restored, and the connection with Mother Earth is strengthened.

According to tradition, Palo Santo has a natural analgesic, anti-stress, and relaxing effect. Palo Santo has a pleasant, refreshing and uplifting scent.

The aroma of Palo Santo can help clear your aura and/or promote positive feelings and joy.

This Palo Santo comes from forests managed, authorized and certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (SERFOR) of Peru.

Only Palo Santo trees and branches that have fallen naturally and remained on the ground for at least 3 to 4 years are used. This method of harvesting does not harm nature and only wood with a rich aroma is used.
